Quick hunt on my property

Took a quick hunt with my dogs on my land today. My dogs love to go metal detecting, but they never find any metal! I found these 4 shotgun shells. First time I found a complete cartridge (Federal Monarch-cir. 1950's-60's), Remington Express-cir. 1944-1960), Remington-UMC Shurshot ((1926-1930), and one had had not found before (MFA pointer-cir. 1905). I followed 7centsworth advice and hunted in all metal with 2 tones.

I miss my Doberman. He always went relic hunting with me. If you aren't digging the shotgun shells you will be missing some good relics. Turtle foot on another forum is a expert on shotgun shells. He told me what a few of mine were. Congratulations on getting out and enjoying the fall weather.

I love taking my pals with me also! They never go far from me and are always within a whistle! The chocolate loves to dig for me! LOL. Happy Hunting! Emmett
