quick easter hunt good finds school ring + buckle

went out for a quick hunt today as the family was finishing cooking the easter ham i went in to the back yard and the second i turned the machine on i found the ring it was bouncing around 12 45 ...12 46..at about 7 inches ,i was shocked to see it so fast,then when i turned it back on i got a strong 12 45 at 10+ it was the buckle anyone know aprox age of the buckle ....that was all then time to eat super quick hunt 2 cool finds...HH
 
Nice ring. Buckle around Civil War era. Have found them in camp sites here in Missouri

Great finds!! I found the exact same buckle too, in Canada. I wonder if they are a standard buckle or if they were produced for only one country.
 
Nice find, and soooooooo close to home, can`t beat that.
