Quick dry sand hunt gets gold

I took my At Gold down to the beach at dawn and high tide to hunt the dry sand for a couple of hours. It was a nice cool hunt before the sun got up and hot with lots of coins coming out including some real crusty ones. One odd signal had me looking in the scoop to see two rings, that hasn't happened in a long long time. And one...was yellow! Yahoo. Got a few US coins, lots of Colones and the two rings plus a working bic lighter and a couple of keys. And of course... a pouch cram full of pull-tabs and bottle caps LOL.

Here's the loot....

Nice little 10k ladies ring with a pearl and a copper junker. Here's a close up of the gold one...

Great hunt!

That same thing has only happened once for me so far.....two rings in one scoop, up on the dry, one gold one silver, and yes that signal was odd and junky sounding too!:clapping:
Congratulations!

Way to go Scott! There is something to be said for warmer climates!!! Went to my local beach yesterday and the ducks were walking on the ice.
