Hit the river valley for a while. Hits were pretty dismal so I headed up to a nearby school. I got the metal hunting arrow head in the woods, and the rest at a nearby school.

Nice! There was a time not too long ago when just about every young boy in town had a bow and arrow and would go out shooting rabbits and woodchucks and squirrels...this was back before computer games of course, we had to go actually have adventures outside. I remember having broadheads like that when I was 10...sheesh, ..brought back some memories of hunts of days gone by. Thanks John!

More loot for the coin jug!! Looking at that rusty arrow point should be a reminder for everyone to wear good leather gloves when you dig, you never know what you might dig up that can poke you!!

Yep...I remember those days. I think thats why I love metal detecting so much, it takes me back to the younger years of playing Pirates hunting for the buried treasure. Now days you ask a kid if he/she plays Pirates...they will likely ask you what video game system is it on.
