Quick advice question

Im starting a new location this week its a home built in the mid 1700's and been lived in up to 10 years ago. Now the grass and weeds are starting to sprout like wild and the soil has some clay, sand and rich dark brown dirt. My question is: I want to dig anything that beeps and get good depth at least in the 10 inch range without running tx boost and killing the battery. What settings would work best? relic, coin and jewlery, Its not a very trashy area and at this location I dont mind digging nails or pop tops cause I know it will pay off. Well If you can understand my rambling I could use some help.
Thanks

I think that next to raising your RX and other gains the best thing you can to to increase depth is use single frequency.

Yes i was thinking that I was looking at your post on the quarter at 12 inches what program and frequency I should run?

I use Relic, but the program is not as important as the settings. C&J is a good program but it does not utilize Mixed Mode. You can turn this on in the Audio menu. It will allow you to hear deeper signals than the factory settings. Other than that, just raising the RX, AM and DISC Sensitivities and making sure you are using the proper Ground Filter.

Thanks Neil Ill give it a try and post any goodies I find.
