Had a quick 30 minute hunt before rains came on what I believe is going to be an untapped site In Warrenton Ga. Hopefully next few months will be fruitful. Hard to get into thick brush but opens up at where house use to be. Has been logged few times last 100 years.

Nice recovery always nice when some silver pops up! I found a spot this summer along a river that was a old swimming area silver everywhere is was so exciting to see what treasure would pop up every time we went!

Looks like a good site. I think you are correct on the lead pot. Take a pair of good brush loppers with you next time!

Here is lead pot that I bought a few years ago… yours looks very similar to it.

Does it have Ideal/ Lyman stamped on it? :)

I had to leave it on the stump but it will be there when I go back hopefully after Christmas. I didn't even clean the dirt off it I do want it though. I will check for marks when I retrieve it.
