That sand that they dredge up off shore for the beaches. Does it ever contain any good stuff or is it all sifted out?

they did my beach last summer went out wright after it was dead just a lot of junk

when they dredge up sand from a area they do a good survey of the bottom to minimise the chance of going over a wreck.

ive gone to beaches were this has been done and only found junk, you just gotta wait for the next season of fresh drops and then be first out..

We get "new" sand here in the Galveston/ Freeport area after every major storm . Never have found anything hunting the new sand, doesn't mean you shouldn't try though. As John said, you've got to wait a season or two for the drops to build up, or wait for a holiday weekend and be first out.

Listen to therover......we both have done "reale" good at dredged beaches where shipwrecks are offshore....
