MY COMMANDO ON THE BOX HAS NUMBERS ABOVE THE LINES ON THE READ OUT SCALE. BUT THERE ARE NO NUMBERS ON THE ACTUAL METAL DETECTOR. ANY ONE ELSE NOTICE THIS?
 
If your missing the numbers above the needle, take the detector back and trade it for another. (make sure you check that one before leaving the store). Clean the unit well before returning it. Sounds like your detector missed 2 steps in the manufacturing process...silk screening, and final inspection...All images I have seen show numbers above the meter.
