Questions re Compadre with 8" coil

I just read the post below on page 3 of the thread titled Official Tesoro Metal Detectors Company Release, started by Nathan Jaeger, Production Manager at Tesoro.

I am ready to get my first MD, I have chosen the Compadre with the 8" coil. When will Tesoro be shipping them, I can't wait much longer. Dick

I'm curious, does anyone know if (a) the 8" coil will be hard-wired to the Compadre like the 5.75" coil, or (b) will Tesoro be coming out with a new control box for the Compadre with a multi-pin port and matching coil cord connectors so we can switch between both coil sizes ?

It's out now Todd. Contact a Tesoro dealer. It is hard-wired also.
