Questions On Tiger Shark

Ratman

New member
I just bought my Tiger Shark last week and plan on using it for fresh water wading in lakes , ponds , streams etc . Hoping to make some gold or silver jewelry finds with it this summer . I was wondering what would be a good Disc Level setting so I don't miss the good stuff ? Also should I use the Normal or Salt Mode in fresh water ? Thanks .....

The Tiger is similar to the old Bandido or Eldorado. Disc. at 4 to 5 will
get most small Gold while ignoring most small iron and nails. Just use
normal mode for your fresh water sites as only wet salt sands have the
capacitance effect that troubles VLF circuits. Also the 12.5kHz
frequency is ideal for small Gold & Silver. The Tiger will find the
goodies, no problemo!

Thanks Wayne I'll give it a run !
