Questions on cz7a pro

Any one know the secret of discriminating out aluminum screw caps with the cz7a pro?I must have dug at least 20 of them at a campground last week end.I find it very hard to believe that a detector costing as much as the pro will not get rid of alum. screw caps.I have the notch set at coins only &that does not include zinc pennies.Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks Pat

Unfortunately you can't notch out as it imitates coins and the last parameter is rather broad which includes some pennies, dimes quarters etc...Again after you use the unit for a while you will see that Screwcaps just cover a larger area. Takes some time in field to get the hang of it but especially shallow ones are easily spotted. CZ's are great units but again one with a 1-100 meter not large segment parameters would be a world beater...even though the technology of the original CZ was 1992...

Thank you very much Dan for the reply. As every one knows on the fisher cz questions,Dan is the person to speak with.I would like to know at least half of what this gentleman forgot about metal detectors. It has been my pleasure my friend. Thanks much Pat

i Have had a CZ7a for i think 6 years now and that is always going to be a problem, but let me just say that is one of the best detectors ever made, i have a new minelab explorer se and i still use my CZ. Just keep using it and it will teach you. good luck diggin
