Ok Ihave now been out with my 750 4 times now. The weather is great around here.

Ok now for the questions

Sometimes when I hit on an object (in coin mode, its all I have used to this point) there will be 2 bars that show up. Whats up with that and whats it telling me.

Does the dept guage always read 2 to 3 inches off? either high or low. It confuses me but i always find what its hitting on so maybe im just being to critical.

How the heck do you use the coin probe screwdriver thing. All it seams to do is poke holes in the ground and I cant feel a dang thing. Hey I guess it will make a good back scratcher.

How many of you own a gtax750?

Ok well im not coming up with any more question at this point.

thanks

Byron

Sounds to me like you're not centering the target properly and you need to practice pinpointing. All readings are off when the target isn't centered properly. Tape some coins to the back of a piece of cardboard, lay it down where there is no metal under it or close to it, and practice locating the coins and pinpointing them. Use someting with a sharp point to poke through the cardboard to see if you have hit the coin. Once you master pinpointing your problem will be solved.

Don't forget the information on the screen is useless unless it is used with the sound of the target you are hearing. In coin mode with two bars is either a nail or just trash.
Is it a good two way signal or does breakup or only sound in one direction of the sweep?
