Has anybody here been to any of the U.S. civil War battlefields???Specifically,Gettysburg........Lots of stories concerning 'apparitions',and hotspots there......Are they to be believed??We are thinking of going there maybe Spring.I Know folks that have been there,seen neither ''hide nor hair' of anything 'unearthly'...........Not necessarily to find 'spirits',but to immerse ourselves in our nation's past.......

To the Vicksburg MS battlefield twice. i have to say when I stood in a certain spot, where it was very quiet. I could faintly here the battle going on. Cannons, guns, men yelling etc…. No ghosts or anything like that. Be sure to take a tour of sorts so you know exactly what happened there, it make all the difference.

I have been to Gettysburg and Perryville battlefields. Both you can just almost feel the battle. Especially Gettysburg that it one place I want to go back to. I have been to several small battle sites around here also.
