Questions About Explorer XS

1. How good does the Explorer XS seperate good targets from bad targets in really bad iron infested sites?
2. What size coil would you recommend, The 6" or 8" in iron infested sites?
3.How good is the 10" coil in iron infested sites?
4. Does Tone ID work similar to Whites Machines? Low tones for Nickels and a higher tone for Dimes?
5. Would you recommend the Explorer XS for hunting civil war relics? Buttons, bullets, etc.
Thanks

It works great in iron, the 8 better than the 10, but the 10 does good.. You have to accept a bit more iron to pick the things in extreme iron, but you will learn a positive hit from an iron hit after a little while of use, I think its a great relic machine.. Tones vary depending on how you set them, but yes coins and high conductive metals have the highest tones and nickels are low tone.. or you can set it to ferrous audio and nickels are mid toned and iron is low toned.. etc etc
