Hey guys and gals. I'm headed out this week to have some fun! I was wondering if anyone has been to the pine creek area in Baker county OR. Or if anyone has some other good places that I might have any luck. I've been in area's where there's gold. Just haven't swung over any yet Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

I see you will have the same kind of response that I was looking for a few week ago. I even went over to Baker City Miners Jamboree and did some scouting around. People are very friendly, however, if you mention that you would like to do some electronic prospecting or like to find a good starting areas- you are pissing in the wind!!! I did meet some good prospectors with active claims, but they are real skittish.
I hope you will have a better chance in finding a area to do some detecting over there, I am still trying to find the right connection.
