Questionable ring.

Found this silver looking ring in about chest deep saltwater but has no markings. The inside looks like someone took a file to try and make it larger. The tone my excal gave me was mid-low which is the tone I always like to hear. When I first saw it I thought it was white gold but have my doubts. The ring on my left is a 14k gold ring and both rings sounds exactly the same on my excal. On my G2, the 14k comes in at 53, the one I found comes in at 52. The 14k weighs 4.95 grams and the other weighs 5.8 grams, it is a little thicker. Maybe I should have it tested before throwing it with my junk rings? Thanks for looking. John

However, tungston and stainess and titanium all give mid tones but you can't file tungston or titanium. Yep have it tested or buy a test kit for under 15.00 on the big auction site.

A nice big one for sure, hope it turns out to be the real thing....Good luck..Obn
