Question

The first time I take my T2 out, just to try, what should my settings be?? I hunt for relics.

Dean

Paul(Ca) posted this for me once

Hi Jeff,
I have the T-2 and the unit does extremely well in sites full of iron, I use these settings.

Disc mode,
Tones set at 2+,
zero discrimination,
Sensitivity level very low,
,Use the quick grab GB mode in the cleaner patches of ground.

Thank you. Really looking forward to getting this beast!!!

Jeff Question
I have not bought the T2 yet. But am getting as much info.as I can.
You told dean that you use the 2+ tone in you set up. Why? and what
is the diff. from four tone?
diggercoins67 Thanks you and every bodyeles on
this forum.

I told Dean that as was pointed out before for relic hunting it is basically good or bad on the tone ID. Anything above a low tone is acceptable and therefore two tone will do the job. Mr Bill and or Paul(ca) had posted something else about that but I cannot remember what it was. Hopefully they will come in and add to this.
Sorry I took so long to give you such a crappy answer. We are going nutz here with orders, spring is arriving!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jeff

Was this what you were referring to ??

If your going to hunt in a trashy area it would be best to use 1, and 1+, because it doesn't average out the target response.

I'm not certain if using 2+ will allow this same affect, or it will take a average, and report it as such.

I haven't had any time, nor has the weather cooperated to use the unit lately.

Mr. Bill

Bill from what I have experienced thus far the T2 will up-average at any/all tone settings especially when it hits on a non-ferrous metal that is in close proximity to iron just as the manual states. The numeric increase I have seen range from 2-6points, though had one occasion where it did read higher than that...though I wouldn't swear to it that it was caused by up-averaging.

Jeff
Thanks. And the A. was not Crappy to me as I am just trying to
get all the info. I can get. Glad your Bizzy.
