Question

I have a question that has probably been answered a 1000 times, however I cannot find an answer, so here goes. I sometimes get a very good signal and as soon as I dig and search with my pointer or detector the signal simply disappears. I have even sifted the soil checked my shovel, etc. and find absolutely nothing, any ideas.

I to have been digging empty holes. I asked Buglar about it. He said that animal urine will do it. So I have been digging where ever the dog went. Cow pastures are hard to do because of urine Buglar said. Sure gives a good loud signal.

I have to tell you a great mystery, one day while poking around in the nearby park, I hit a great target, it looked to be a silver dime...only 6" deep, I pinpointed....I found where it was supposed to be...and I carefully dug my heart out...nothing...but I noticed as soon as I reached the area detected at the 6" level, I noticed a mole tunnel running right under where the dime was to be....mystery solved, somewhere...out there.....is a mole with my dime resting on his back....from that day forward I carry a butterfly net with me, Jack!
