Tell me if I have this right. Minelab fbs machines transmit 1 frequency and 27 harmonics of that frequency. It then reads the strongest single return freq. White's V3i transmits 1 frequency and 2 harmonics and reads all three return signals.

Not as I understand it, the Whites V3i is a True three frequency detector, it transmits, receives, and processes THREE different frequency at the same time.
The FBS is on purpose meant to confuse the issue, and arguing the one is worthless.
