Yes, it is worth it. The blunted ends allow the DD 5 x 8 coil to get extra depth then a similar coil. It is very sensitive to tiny targets like 22 projectiles and works extremely well in very junky, iron littered sites. It has the ability to sniff out high conductors amongst the trash.

Absolutely worth the money! Put it on and you might not ever take it off again. Not the deepest detecting coil but withing 8" its great..... I would go toe to toe with and expensive machine with this 5x8 coil and out perform them. LOL
