I have a question for any cz owner or aquanaut owner.. Say I have a nonworking aquanaut that's older. No warranty bought as is.. Now ,How in the heck does one get inside to the control board???? These crazy things are sealed up like a tank. lol

Yes I want to look at whats inside.

Just curious huh? i took apart a CZ 20 a few years ago...theres four little flat head screws inside the battery compartment, way at the back.. hard to see, generally covered with some black rtv...if you take those out, you can split the box...

as you split the box, you have to loosen the cable clamps so the wires slide on through too..theres also four screws under the faceplate, you can slide a thin knife under the faceplate and cut it loose from the silicone that holds it there...those four front screws are buried under silicon...the back ones are the easiest way in...once apart, they say you cannot successfully seal it back up to a factory correctness.....though, you may be able to repair it and use it as a wader? Let us know how you do!

Would think that's a job for the Fisher tech's....keeping it watertight intergrity would be a problem...

Thanks Dan. I'm all about modifications and probably should have posted in the mod forum. Once I get in there I can go from there.

Guess I should be wearing those $400.00 pair of glasses i just leave set in the dresser drawer. LOL.

Oh yeah...its definitely a job for the techs if you want it working and watertight...will cost you probably 400 bucks though....if your coil is bad....if its a simple visual problem, like a loose wire or something, you might be able to fix it and get it put back together and use it as a shallow water wader...it is an interesting complicated internals...worth a look if you are bored and have nothing better to do and dont care about fixing it..
