cleaning up some of my find i discovered two of my rings were sterling. so what is the difference between .925 and sterling?
 
Sterling is .925 pure. Coin silver is .900 and there are many other combinations too.
 
thanks i have seen people find things that say sterling and rings stamped .925 but never really knew the difference
