What does one concider HOT ground in a area ? Im asking in referance too getting a DD coil and what are the benifits of useing a DD coil in 60's, 70's,80's ground and some area's with hotrocks with my MXT over the stock 950 coil. I have had DD-coils in the past but not on a MXT and really enjoyed them over the stock coils. sas
 
I have a 6x10 & 4x6 dd & use them all of the time in hot soil. If it is not working to good I will switch to salt mode & it seems to work better.
