My Safari arrived today , The rubber battery cover appears to have 2 screw holes.. Mine only contains 1 screw.. Should there be 2 screws ?
Also , It came with a rechargeable battery back , but it does not have any way to charge it .. Should it contain the charger ?
thanks JB

marxionu is right about the second hole, it is for a mono jack. Headphones with a Stereo/mono switch are just the ticket to use. The detector does not come with a rechargeable battery pack, only a AA battery holder that holds 8 AA batteries. Check out your owners manual for more details it will be time well spent. Take your time with your new detector and get to know it better. The Safari is a first rate detector and you made a good choice. You will go through some trial and error but be patient and you will enjoy it very much. Read some of the other posts here you will get a feel for it.
