Does anyone live near or do the beaches in the Jacksonville,Fl. area?

I live in Jacksonville and do the beaches several times a week, I find a few things and a bit of clad but never have done really well, If you put it in perspective and just enjoy being near the water and do not have unrealistic expectations you can enjoy life. Tom

hey,, im here in jville as well. i hunted out at mayport today... lots of clad... there is still a pretty good cut out of the beach there. some over 6 foot. i hunted the cut and got around $20 in clad in around 3 hours . alot of it very crusty. i was suprised none of it silver and no gold jewelrey. i was out at jax beach last weekend again no gold. did find a nice silver ring and a few junk earrings. it is very hit/miss there...... . i have done mostly beach hunting here in florida. i just got the etrac and want to find some land places to try. if any one want to get together and hit a few places drop me a line.
