QUESTION WHICH DETECTOR TO KEEP

coinscratcher

New member
I HAVE A SOVEREIGN GT AND I GOT A GOOD DEAL ON A WHITES ALL PRO METAL DETECTOR 2 MONTHS OLD I WISH I COULD KEEP BOTH DETECTOR BUT I CAN'T WHICH ONE WOULD BE GOOD TO KEEP. THANK YOU. ALL HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Both are good machines, each have an edge over the other.

Depending on your type of hunting, Sovereign is better for turf hunting and ocean wet sand. However, is good for coin shooting too and with gold jewelry.

Whites MXT Pro for relic, prospecting, coin shooting and extreamly small jewelry from parks, schools and such.

Both are good, pick what best suits your type of hunting.

Interesting post, both good detector but you left out one vital piece of information on what type of detecting you mainly do,if it was beach biased then the Sovereign would be the obviouse choice but if it was more land and general detecting then the Whits machine would be the option that i would take.

But without that all important info on what you detect it would hard for folks to offer any real advice or suggestions.
