Question? When coins or rings are deep do they get pulled down the scale on ace 250

In my personal 250 experience I don't think I've ever seen depth of the target change the position on the target ID scale.

Quite often I've coins and especially silver or gold jewelry ID in the wrong position or act as flake targets but that's not surprising given all the environmental factors. In general, the coins ID pretty darn good, especially dimes and quarters. I will say that most all of the rings, bracelets and ear rings I've ever found with the 250 registered as jumpy signals or trash regardless of their depth.

Within the peak limits of the 250 they should read the same but remember there are many things in the ground and on or around the coins that can screw up an accurate reading. These detectors are designed to ID under ideal or normal conditions .
