Question: S.E.F coil or Ultimate DD coil for G2 ???

Good day to ALL,

Please share your feedback and knowledge on which coil will give better depth on the G2, the S.E.F type coils of the DD ultimate.

I have the chance to choose from both and really do not know which one is better.

I have a 13" ultimate coil for my G2 & it works really well together. Is there sef coils made for the G2? I have a sef for my T2se. Its the 15/12. It really helped in depth & ground coverage. The G2 with the ultimate coil combo is one heck of a relic setup.
 
... Thank you for your input ... Yes there is a S.E.F coil for the G2 ... it is bigger than the DD ultimate and apparently better depth ... i just never had the chance to use one ...

In regards to the Ultimate DD ... what is the approximate depth on a silver dime???

I don't know how deep it will go on a dime. I have only ever relic hunted with it. I have found 8" buttons & 10" Minnie balls with the G2 & 13" coil.
 
Where can you get the SEF coils at for the Gold bug G2 detectors?
 
there is a retailer in Europe the web site is www.mdetectors.com ... they offered me a SEF for the G2 ... try and see if they can ship to the US ... i am currently on my way to Europe for a while ... that is why i will most likely buy one and try it ...
 
Hey, cool it is available in Europe. Might have to check it out. I all ready have a NEL Attack 15" for my G2. I know I like the set on my T2. The only drawl back is the weight of it. Thanks for the link. HH
 
5", 6" x 9" Elipticle, 11" and the 13" ultimate. The 13" Utimate hasn't been off but once, when I was invited to hunt a farm with cotton stalks. It was easier to hunt it wuth the smaller coil. That 13" love buttons.

it seems like a good choice ... Have you done any Air or Garden tests with the Ultimate and the stock coil? .... how much deeper does it goes than the stock 11''???

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

It share does love buttons. I dug three confederate buttons this year with my G2 & the ultimate coil. I also dug a bunch of eagle & flat buttons.
