Question re depth capability of XL Pro

DonM

Member
I have used Fisher CZ models for several years and I currently have a Coinstrike but I am considering the purchase of a used XL Pro partially becasue of all the rave reviews from you folks.
I don't expect the XL Pro to go as deep as the Fisher line (but I also realize the depth is not everything sometimes)...but I would like an idea as to the average depth capability of the XL model.

Can anyone give me an idea as how deep the XL can pick up a dime or quarter in average ground?

I have found most of my coins in the five or six inch range. I have found a quarter as deep as nine inches. The XL Pro will do a decent job in the depth department, nothing to be ashamed of. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)
