I understand from some feedback that the F5 and F70 gets some emf noise.
Is this true of the F2? I took the MXT out to a park that had a Radio tower and Micro dish and the
chatter was something fierce! I was able to quiet it down somewhat but it was still a problem.
How well does the F2 handle noise of this nature?

What are you expecting out of this. I can see if you asked about the F75, but the F2.

The F2 is what it is, a low end unit with a lot of performance enhancement features. Dam, it sells for $199. did you expect champagne ?

The F5 hasn't been in manufacture yet, so I would guess any reports on that are purely premature, and speculation. The F70's were just shipped to the dealers last week, give it some time.
 
F2 works fine, you get noise, move away from source, it beeps, digit, they find coins just like the advertising sez, for $199.00 can't beat it, does fine job, the more you spend the more adjusting and re-programing, if you just wanna detect and not be a gadget geek, go simple :detecting:Pay attention to Mr Bill:detecting:
 
especially on a beer budget!
