What new things have been added to the MXT Pro (other than the 12 inch coil) that my old MXT does not have. What can the Pro do differently?

Might have been answered a lot of time before but the main difference are the multi tones. Other than that it just has the back light and that is basically it. The ground grab feature can be done in the mxt as well.

Your MXT can find all the same targets, there are just some conveniences added to the pro already mentioned. The ground grab is a button below the screen and I use it all the time while ground trac is locked, just touching it every 10 min or so or when I find a clear area to GB. It keeps your off hand free since you use your thumb.

Ground grab can be done in the mxt as well just by switching the ground from lock to track and back to lock anytime.

[size=large]as far as i can tell the old MXT 300 is the new MXT Pro in that the 12" coil was standard on both. then the back-light, ground grab and the tones were added to the MXT to make it the Pro.the Pro is the only version i have used but i loved the way it handled.

The 950 used to be standard on the pro, now its the D2 I think.
