Does the Teknetics Pin Pointer sound off l;ike my Garrett Pro-Pointer? And what is its
depth? As good as the Whites Bullseye?

I recent bought a Tek Delta to use as a competition machine and it came with a Tek pinpointer. It is definitely far less sensitive than the Propointer, its not even close. It does beep in a similar manner to the Propointer but I don't think it is as loud. I only turned it on a for a few minutes to test it and then put it in my spare equipment box to use as a backup/loaner.

As far as the comparing it the White's I would put it more like yes it is as shallow as the White's maybe it even gets a little less depth than the White's but they are pretty close in not getting much depth.

I tested it using my SUV as a test target and it got about 1 inch on a 3000 lb SUV, a couple of other guys were watching me try it out and we all had a hoot over its depth.

Thanks for the input. It sounds like it isn't worth getting...unless one can't afford the
pro-pointer. I've been looking for a second pinpointer to have as a back up and to let
friends use when they come detecting with me. Looks like I'll have to spend the extra
money for another pro-pointer.
