Question on waterproof headphones which ones?

I am getting my AT pro delivered on Monday and can't wait! I have been a Minelab user for years but needed to make a change, for multiple reasons. I have never owned a Garrett before but did weeks of research online before making my decision and decided the AT Pro was my best choice. Its Winter here in N.H. so my maiden hunt will have to be the beach for now. My question is how comfortable are the Garrett waterproof headphones? I have always used Detector Pro brand headphones but the Amphibians command a high price tag, but comfort and performance is key, if I have to pay the extra $$$ I will. I definitely want waterproof as the AT Pro is going to take me into a new hunting ground! So please chime in and give me your honest opinions please.

I don't have the Garrett water proof headphones. The stock headphones are comfortable, but do let noise in. If you can keep you head above water you can use the stock headphones. They are waterproof at the machine up to the heads set.

I like the Amphibs, excellent phones. I have the Garrett 'phones on my SH Mk II and they are OK, but not as nice as the Amphibs. I've used the Amphibs on the AT Pro as well as the SH Mk II and it's a whole world of difference. If you've used and liked DetectorPro 'phones before, you'll love these!! JMHO

How much outside noise do the Grey Ghost Amphibians block?

With Garrett's waterproof I was OK with "outside" noise for 10 years, what really killed me was the wind noise.
I got a pair of the Amphibians...they knocked the wind noise down about 50% or more.
I bought a micro-fleece balaclava that was big enough to go over my ball cap and the headphones 99% of the wind noise was GONE!
The balaclava will be a bit warm in the summer but then I will be looking for the fresh drops and they will be LOUD, not a small whisper I search for during the off season months.
I am sold on the Amphibians for the Infinium, ATX and AT-series. It is great to have a volume control for the Infinium. And they come with the correct connector.
99% of my detecting is done in the water, both salt and fresh. The wind on the ocean can be very strong and cold in the winter.

I found the Garrett "blue" waterproof phones to fit really snug, creating almost a vaccuum on my ears. My hearing isn't the best so I didn't think they were too loud (I keep the land phones on full blast volume). Other than the tightness I like them.

Canadian treasure seeker :
We had them here but we found out that they do not work properly with the
Garrett ATPro/Gold. We returned what ones we had here to DetectorPro.
Thank you
