Question on the XL Pro?

Compared to the Prizm V. How much better performance can you expect with the XL Pro?
Better depth?
Better target ID?
Discrimination?
The Prizm is one great machine, but for those that compared the two what's your feelings.

Thanks

Now, set aside the fact that I am NOT a fan of the Prizm series because I will do my best to be rather frank about this. It's based upon actual in-the-field experience and I have owned a couple of Prizm's and have used each model of the Prizm series.

First, to your post: "Compared to the Prizm V. How much better performance can you expect with the XL Pro?"... Let's first presume that you're keeping the comparison fair and using the stock 950 coil on each model.

"Better depth?"... The XL Pro will easily provide better depth because it provides the advantages of more refined Discriminate adjustment; 4-filter operation to better handle higher ground mineralization; Autotrac

The "learning curve" isn't bad at all. The Prizm V, by comparison, is a slow-motion, delayed response unit and HAS to be swept slower in more intense mineralization. The XL Pro, on the other hand, is a four-filter type that requires a sort-of slowish to medium sweep speed (much slower than the early 6000's required).

The Prizm V relies on a preset and internally set GB for both mode (Discrimination and AM Pinpoint) while the XL Pro provides Autotrac
