Question on the wireless headphones.

Although the CTX 3030 can send the sound over to the WD 10 wireless receiver for the head phones, are there head phones out there that can connect direct wireless to the CTX 3030 without using the WD 10. Logic would say there must be as the WD 10 and the CTX 3030 both are RF with 14 channels on 2.4G.

I have bluetooth wireless on 2.4 but they dont work with the CTX 3030 because they are bluetooth, but I have seen wireless headphones for sale that are only RF but they are not too cheap to buy and try.

If anyone has a CTX 3030 and has ordinary wireless head phones too or can borrow of someone to try please let us know as that will help some save some money by not needing to buy the WD 10.

I believe the protocol is proprietary and therefore is not going to be related to Bluetooth or any WiFi schemes. Therefore off the shelf technology is not going to work.

There is an Auvio headphone with a wireless module that should work provided you don't use the WM10 module. I have used this before on other detectors.

All the CTX is doing is sending out packets of data, the WM10 converts it to an audio signal. Already looked into it.
