Question on the new Dual Field Surf PI

B.T

New member
Does anyone know how well this machine does on gold chains as opposed to the last model? Is it better in that regards? Does the new one have any way of determining what metal you may have detected?
I would greatly appreciate any info that anyone has on this.

A lot of the P I masters are on the PI Technology Forum B.T. I would give them a try.

It does great on small gold. Chains are no problem. There is no discrimination. The only thing you can do is increase your pulse delay to help reduce the signal on hair pins but you also take a chance on loosing small gold. I just had my first summer with the DFPI and I was very pleased with its performance. Good Luck!
