QUESTION ON THE NEL SHARP SHOOTER COIL

QUESTION ON THE NEL SHARPSHOOTER COIL I PURCHASED A WHITES COINMASTER GT AND IT CAME WITH A SHARPSHOOTER COIL THAT THE PERSON SAID IT WORKED WITH THE COINMASTER GT WELL IT DOESN'T WORK ON THE DETECTOR AT ALL I'M WODERING IF IT WORKS ON ANOTHER DETECTOR THE SERIAL #23743 . I TALKED WITH NEL WHICH THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT DETECTOR IT WENT ON THE SAID CHECK MY WARRANTEE CARD I DIDN'T BUY THE COIL IT CAME WITH THE DETECTOR. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRCIATED.

you say it does not work.. is that because the plug does not fit or it just not function?

According to the web site of the dealer where I bought mine it says it won't work on the Coinmaster GT , but I have had people tell me that it would .so I' not sure either . I use one on my Coinmaster Pro and it works just fine I like it real well . I don't know but suppose the serial number would be different on each one , but I'm not positive about that . The serial number on mine is 25495 . I will send you a pm .

NEL says they do not work.. they over load at low sensitivity on the GT. When they first hit the US market I bought the NEL hunter for my GT and it works fine.. However, if the temp is below 50, changes in the machine and the coil cause it to overload on max sensitivity. I had asked my dealer to try a New Hunter coil on a new CM GT and he said it overloaded at 3 notches on the sensitivity. Do they work.. maybe.. NEL won't sell them to you for the GT cause they don't want you sending them back defective. The CM and CM Pro don't apparently have enough oomph to make them overload like the GT..
