Question on the fisher?

can some one help me, I'm thinking of buying a fisher metal detector, i like the f 70 and the f 75 is there much of a difference between them two machines? besides the price.

You need to post your question on the Fisher forum.
To answer your question, the F70 has a lower learning curve. The F75 slightly higher.
Both are susceptible to high frequency noise from electrical interference. You are also limited
to the number of coils available: two! Its possible Fisher will come out with more but I wouldn't
count on them doing so. Customer service has finally improved somewhat. They are working hard
to be more accommodating. That said, the two machines are about the same in depth. You'll have to
turn down your sensitivity though, or you'll be picking up everything in the ground 12 inches away off the edge of your coil!
They are super sensitive, but are said to have excellent depth. They are giving the MXT and the Xterra-70
a run for their money. The F-70 had a problem with an internal chip but that is fixed now.
You need to check out the Fisher Forum and you'll get ALL KINDS of information.

i think it 3 coils, the f-75s large stock DD coil and the f70s stock concentric and the 6" concentric coils, i use the t-2 simular to the f-75 and wouldnt trade it for anything
