If you have it in park 2 and discriminate some number out and then shut it off. Then when you turn it back on well the setting be the same? in

Thanks that helps. I have one coming in a week are so. Where I hunt it is a lot of bottle caps. I well have to cut them out are I well dig a lot of them.

Right now I have park 1 set up for coin hunting, so I have something like -9 - 11 and 14 - 18 disced out.

If you haven't already, you can download the manual and study it. Note that the manual is for both the 600 and 800. Features that are available only for the 800 are marked with an *.

However you had it set up at shut off, it will start in that program/settings.........

You will still hit bottle caps just not as many. Once a bottle cap starts to rust a bit you will get a tone.. Sometimes Bush Beer and sometimes even Corona.

I would say I dig maybe 1 bottle cap per 2 hours in a park invested with tabs, cans and caps

Thanks for all the info. I have not got the nox 600 in yet. How I plan to use the 600 is. The place I hunt a trashy. I'll use my f75 first and pick up all the clad. And it is good at it. Then go back over the same land with the 600. Notch out as much as I can on trash. Have the frequency on 5 khz.. I'll well be looking for silver that all at that point. Well we will see if this works.

This doesn't sound like a good plan. The 600 is great at finding shallow clad, better than my Etrac. Regardless, I think you'll do better in multifrequency than 5 kHz.

Straight park 1 or 2 can you elaborate on your settings for this as the o ly way I can make this happen when using park one or two is to check the target in all metal as well and watch for tid increase as well as tone change

5 khz single mode seems deeper than multi mode , only its more likely to call a cap a coin and it dont handle trashy areas as well as multi. You can always switch to multi to check targets so thats a bonus , but 5 khz does like trash targets. If its a target dense area you would be best to hunt in multi. 5 khz for more open areas.
