Question on the Detech 13" Ultimate coil

all my other coils from GBP work on the F19 and Omega but just want to check see

Hi john im looking at getting one aswell ..im more interested in getting a bit more depth ,has anybody used one that might be able to give us an idea on what kind of depth improvements it will give?

I got an addition inch in depth over the 11" coil and about 2" over the 5x10 coil.

Thanks for that Tom ..how is it in mineralised ground ?

I used it here in Arizona and the ground is pretty mineralized. I didn't have any issues running it wide open in most places including the CA beaches.

My one suggestion on the 13 ultimate coil us this. When you think you have a good target, pin point, and dig the initial plug out, and find the signal is all of a sudden in the side wall, (well, in my experience), it was trash, small iron piece, nail piece, nail sliver, etc. The good signals were almost dead on accurate where you dig the initial plug 99% of the time!
