Question on the 15" Blue Max coil?

JHM

Member
I've got an XL Pro and I need a large coil that's deep for hunting open fields. I'm wondering if the Blue Max 1500 serve this purpose. I would mainly be hunting for relics and I know this coil will do good on larger items and give me the coverage I need, but I need to get deeper than average on bullets and buttons. My other, more expensive option is a different detector. I would like some opinions from people who have actually used this coil before I peel off the $$$.

Hi JHM I have a 6000 XL-Pro, I never used a Blue Max 15" I dont know if that coil will still be good on small Targets??

Get a Fisher CZ.

Thanks for the replies. I still have the xl pro but no longer have the need for this coil. I'm now running an MXT pro. I think I found what fits me best.
