Question on Tejon or other Tesoros....

I have been a White's user for the 10 yrs I've detected and am used to their audio. I want to get a Tesoro but have read from the Tejon field test that deeper targets sound off quieter. I have bad hearing due to tank engines and loud music :) On the DFX there is a preference setting called modulation which allows a user to hear the deep targets as either loud or soft. I wondered if the Tejon or other Tesoros have this or will I hear the deeper targets just by turning the volume up. Thanks!

Well, on my Cibola I turn up the volume in my headphones or turn up the threshold if necessary. These machines when set right are awesome. I don't think you'd miss much!!! Try one at a dealer and see if it will work for you.

that deep targets give a nice even softer tone, but I found all my targets just banged loud. But most of my targets were under 8". I have a pair of headphones (Koss's) that can be really loud, if I turn them all the way up. I can imagine that they'd be really loud paired with a Tejon.
