Question on Tajon GB

Johnny

New member
Should the Tajon GB When you push the coil up nad down have no change are a slight + . The nannul saids no change is GB and on the field test Mr Cissone said a sligth + ? Are does it matter??

Johnny,
A slightly positive GB seems to work better and make the detector more sensitive in most soils. Another way to look at it is that is better to have a slight positive balance in case the soil minerals change while you are hunting. If the balance drifts off to the negative side you will lose depth and performance quickly, and may not be aware of it unless you are in the habit of re-ground balancing often (which is not a bad idea).

Hope this helped some, HH, Jerry
