Question on Sov. GT

Just curious it dosent look loke the GT has any type of depth indication, which is fine but can you tell approximate depth by signal strength after using it for awhile? for instance a target 0-6" as opposed to a target 6+ inches.

I feel after you have used the GT for a while you will be able to tell about how deep the coin is. Now a item bigger than a coin like other detector with a depth meter on it will fool you. I feel how weak the signal is and how small it will sound as it is deeper. If it is a louder signal and seems a bit bigger than it is more surface. After a while it will come natural with some experience
