Question on photo printers !!

I see all the fantastic pics on here and wonder if you folks print your own pictures.I'm thinking of getting another printer and I want it not only for text but also a do-all for photography.What brand, picture size capabilities,ease of use,approx.number of pictures,etc.In other words,what would you recommend and which ones to stay away from.This would be strictly for home use. Bob
 
Can you take just one frame from a cam corder recording and print a picture of it.Just to make sure,,this post and my post above,I'm referring to digital photos. Bob
 
I take my pictures to Sam's. At .13 cent a picture you can't print it that cheap at home. Figure the cost of your ink cartage and the photo paper and you will see what I mean.
