Question on Nickels

The other day I asked where indians register, and I've learned my lesson! (Just kidding ;-)
Same question, different coin though.
Do all the nickels, Jefferson, shield, V Buff etc all register in the same spot on the smartfind or do they move around (please...no herding/migrating/hunter-gatherer humor!)on the screen.
Thanks.
HH

They do fall on differents spots, at least 6 seperate pixels that I know of.
If you want to see an image showing where they show up on the Smartfind screen follow the link below and scroll down to the 'old detector' pattern, then mouse over the image and some coin positions will appear. --just move your mouse pointer over the 'old detector'.
Here's the link......

Hi,
I just got my explorer today and found your link!
WOW what a great site! One problem, I cannot book mark it. When I save the site it shows empty.
Thank you so much for the tip!!!

If ya can't book mark them. Print out the responces you like and make a folder of the good tips.

Does anyone know how to print the "Old Detector" pattern complete with the overlay? I have tried everything that I can think of and it never works. I keep getting only the "Old Detector" but not the target placement screen. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
H.H.
