Question on Mxt depth ability

Back last fall when i first got mxt i got an overload/large object signal on edge of my lawn which goes down sharply to train tracks.I guessed then it was probaly an engine block buried as it seemed to be long and wide..as an old straight block.Anyways was out there today just scoping lawn a little bit and went over to recheck this area and after finding area went and got long heavy iron bar and probed ground.Found object down 2 feet in 3 of 4 areas i probed, just find it hard to think coil overloads on object that deep or is it due to its possible size?Rings in at -38 area so must be iron..regardless my curiousity has got better of me..so will dig to see...if i do will take a couple pics to show..nothing immediate though, gotta get garden going....Curt

That's a interesting story and would love to see just what you find maybe a car or some big piece of iron sheeting from a railroad car or something . Will diffidently be watching for pictures of your find . Good luck maybe it will be a pirates chest .

Steel casket !!

it is a LARGE object (which you seem to have sized), and if you're using a larger coil, such as the 12" concentric.
