question on M6

Johnny

New member
What kind of depth on a dime in good ground will the M6 get with a whites 5.3 coil, all so the MXT. thanks

I have recovered dimes at about 5 inches deep using the 5.3 on my MXT. I have heard that the M-6 and the MXT will find them a little deeper than that though. Hope that helps. Mike

It also has to do with how long they've been in the ground. The longer in the ground the deeper it can be found.

How does your gain and discrimination levels affect your VDI and audio signal? I can find quarter, nickels, dimes and pennies at 12" with low discrimination and max gain----but oh, how many pultabs did they plant in my Path?! So, hunting coins with the MXT, what settings? ...what mode (jewelry or relic)? What settings and modes are you achieving best success for in reaching the old, silver coins?
