QUESTION ON HEADPHONES

Thinking of buying a ctx, are you plugging your headphone directly into detector or are you using the wireless setup. Is there any lag in sound on the wireless set up' THANKS EXPLORERJIM

I am using the wireless WM10 module that comes with the package. There is no lag in the wireless response.

Can the wireless module support any headset or is the supplied Koss headset unique to the ctx?

The WM10 will support any headphone. Personally I use AT Golds.

No lag at all. The wireless setup on the Minelab CTX 3030 is nice. I put the module on my back hip and throw the cord over my shoulder. Never know its there.

The wireless is great. I put the module in a vest pocket, plug in the earbuds, and clip the earbuds wires to my collar and never an issue! Excellent response and no lag at all. It also never, ever, loses sync with the module or the CTX. The greatest thing about the machine is the ability to plug it into a 12 outlet in the car and the main battery and the wireless module is charged in quickly while moving to the next spot.
