Question on GOLD stamps

I have some gold stamps I have questions on , can you guys tell me if any of the are good, if its on the clasp, is the whole earing, bracelet gold and Itay, Korea and 8k symbols for gold, thanks, I got some pics of the stamps, I'm cashing in my gold for a new detector, my bonus went to a generator and my clad goes to oil , I got about 100 grams of 14 to 10 k gold

Sniffy, what M/D are you buying? I found ARA to be very good on their gold pricing and service.

get ur self an acid kit ,,some of my find don't have marking but they test possitive with the acid

More than likely the entire piece is whatever the clasp is marked, with subtle variances. The only company I would recommend you use is ARA

I've used them 2 times now and Nicki and the bunch have been fair on all fronts. I would caution against speculating elsewhere, I've done a lot of looking. The pieces you are not sure about, just acid test and if they hold color, weigh them in dwts., as you will weigh all your pieces and send them in separate ziplocks, i.e. not sure, 10K, 14K etc. Instruct how you want compensation, i.e. check. They also bid your diamonds, if you have any you want to sell, if not they will return all stones, good and bad. They pay 98% spot bid on gold and 90% on .925 silver. The company also returns any pieces that are determined to be junk. Good luck with it mate!

The acid is not ALWAYS reliable either. I had 2 "white gold grilles" that held 10K test acid and they were not accepted by ARA. Here are the culprits here, LOL!

I've also dealt with ARA, turnaround time seems to be a little slower than normal around Christmas and also slower in general since gold went through the roof in the past year (everyone sending off their "mismatched, broken or unwanted gold" for cash). Otherwise they seem to pay the best and match the weights I got before sending it in. I'm still using them, wish they'd update their web presence to make it clearer how to send your stuff and what to expect though.
